Arriving in Delhi is one of the most surprising and challenging capital cities you will arrive in. The best way to handle it is to make a visit to the capital in the first day of arrival in Delhi. Negotiate a rickshaw ride to the Gandhi Memorial named locally Raj Ghat. It is a marble slab located on the spot where the leader was cremated. From here, continue until you reach the India Gate. It is a memorial to the soldiers of World War I and the Afghan wars. The place is quite nice, there is a park with a lake and monumental fountains around.

You can also see and visit the Parliament, the Presidential Palace and reach the Qutub Complex. Qutub is a set of ruins of what was the first Islamic city of Delhi and is home to the tallest minaret in the world with a height of 73 meters. From here head off to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the temple of the Sik community. It is an imposing white marble building located near Connaught Place. You must take off your shoes when entering. The special thing about the place is the free food distributed to thousands of people. Be sure to enter the kitchen to see all the volunteers.
Visit the Jama Masjid Mosque, the largest in the country. You can visit its large courtyard and admire its three domes and the two minarets. It's beautiful. Also Visit the Red Fort of the city, declared a World Heritage Site, but in this case, only on the outside.

From Delhi travel to Jaipur. After breakfast we recommend heading to Amber, where you can visit Amber Fort. From this point, you will be able to appreciate the historic city of the kings of Amber next to Lake Maota. It is advisable to make a complete visit to the interior of the fort. Admire the Palace of Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of a lake that is currently uninhabited and cannot be visited, but the views of the palace surrounded by water are beautiful. We recommend you take a walk at sunset in this area.
Continue to Jaipur Palace, also known as the city palace. The palace was transformed into a museum but part of it is still used by the royal family of Jaipur. From here visit the Jantar Mantar, It is the world's largest stone sundial, known as the Vrihat Samrat Yantra. And finish off with Palace of the Winds, The 953 windows covering the lace-like facade of the Palace of the Winds were designed to allow the ladies of the royal court to watch the drama of the streets unobserved behind their delicate latticework.

We will now make way to Agra to see famous TajMahal, but on the way are lucrative spots to visit that are a must. The first is Chand Baori, considered one of the largest and deepest stepped cisterns in India. It is believed to date back to the year 800, contains 3500 steps on 13 levels and is 20 meters deep. In this place some movie scenes have been recorded and the surroundings are beautiful.
Continue your way to Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city that has a palace which was built during the Mughals empire. The capital of the Mughal Empire for 10 years, Fatehpur Sikri, contains a complex of monuments and temples, all in a uniform architectural style, includes one of the largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid.

We now should arrive at the Taj Mahal. You will have to get up very early if you want to see the sunrise in the Taj Mahal, an unforgettable experience. The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife, Mumtaz Mahal, who died in 1631. It took 22 years to complete this work of art made of marble, a symbol of love. It is one of the wonders of the world, and unlike other very famous monuments that do not meet expectations, the Taj Mahal, more than meets them, in fact for many travelers it is the most beautiful wonder there is.
After visiting the Taj Mahal, head to Agra Fort, built as a defensive citadel and completed two generations later. Agra Fort offers a magical view of the Taj Mahal. Visit the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, known as the Baby Taj Mahal, built in honor of Mirza Ghiyas, built by his daughter, wife of Emperor Jahagir.

Take the train to Jhansi and stop on the way to Khajuraho at Orchha. The town was established by rajput ruler Rudra Pratap Singh sometime after 1501. BE sure to visit the Ram Raja Temple, Royal Chhatris, And Orchha Fort complex. Don’t forget to look at the View of Raja Mahal from Jahangir Mahal.

The next day we will visit Khajuraho which hosts the great temples of the Kamasutra. The Chandela dynasty ruled Khajuraho in the 13th century. Its temples were built over a period of 100 years. These temples are among the most beautiful medieval monuments in the country. Following the decline of the Chandela dynasty, these monuments were long forgotten as they were hidden under thick forest cover, only to be discovered by a British surveyor TS Burt.
The most important thing to do in Khajuraho is to visit The Western Group of Temples and if you do, we are sure you will fall in love. This is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a title it truly deserves. The sculptures here represent the daily tasks of the people during that time. The various levels of perfection, inside and outside the temple, make it worth a visit.
In the surroundings of Khajuraho you have The Ajaigarh Fort. You have to climb around 600 steps to get here, but the kaleidoscopic views of the River Ken and the Vindhya Hills make it all worth it. There are two temples, two gates, and sculptures of gods and goddesses inside. The fort is deserted, with no maps or food stalls. Be sure to reserve a private guide in advance along with bottled water and some snacks.

Also in the vicinity, 20 kilometers from Khajuraho you will find Raneh Falls, Also known as the 'Mini Grand Canyon' of India. The waterfall is in the crater of a dead volcano. You will notice that the crater consists of 5 different types of rocks. Waking up early to experience the picturesque Raneh Falls is worth it. For photography fans this place is a paradise.

Our next stop before Varanasi is Allahabad, the city that hosts the incredible Kumbha Mela every 6 years. Triveni Sangam is the place where Kumbh Mela is organized once every 12 years. The rivers Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati are of great religious importance in the Hindu mythology.
Khusro Bagh is one of the most famous places to visit in Prayagraj and attracts many tourists. Located in Lukarganj, this Bagh and its walls and brackets are a reminder of beautiful Mughal architecture. The intricate carvings, beautiful inscriptions on each mausoleum, and mesmerizing gardens filled with roses and Guava trees make this one of the must-visit tourist places in Prayagraj.
Visit the Alahabad Museum also if you are in this town. The museum is famous for providing an insight into the history, culture, and heritage of India. It also houses some amazing artefacts that are related to art, history, archeology, literature, and environment that helped shape the independence movement of India.

When in Varanasi Take a Saint both in Ganges River. A boat ride along the Ganges River is also worth your while. Start upstream; This means walking up the river to the university complex and negotiating a boat ride from there. Never mind any dead bodies floating by... this is nothing too special in Varanasi as many Hindus come here from all over India for their last days to die along the Holy Ganges River.

A sunset walk along the Ghats is a must in Varanasi. The Ghats along the river ganga in Varanasi is the most enchanting sight in the holy city. Walking through the Ghats at sunset is an incomparable experience. Exploring the Ghats is one of the best things to do in Varanasi. The city has almost a hundred Ghats, the steps of each leading down to the waters of the river Ganges.
